Mr. Biggs received a
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Missouri (Rolla). He
has 35 years experience in design, project engineering/development and
management, project planning and as a consultant for invention and
product redesign.
After serving in SAC
of the Air Force, Mr.Biggs began his engineering career as an aircraft
design engineer for the B-58 supersonic Hustler bomber by General
Dynamics. Later, he worked for the DOD and the Navy in research and
development of weaponry for the Naval Weapons Center and the Naval
Ordnance Systems Command. During this period he was granted four patents
and given nine Superior Achievement Awards for work on various Navy
projects.
Mr. Biggs served with
the Panama Canal Commission for 14 years as a Special Projects Engineer.
He was a Registered Professional Engineer in the Canal Zone (1973-1984).
During that time he had project responsibility for numerous projects that
related to improvements to the Panama Canal and its infrastructure. These
included a Multi-lock Lighting System for all three lock sites of the
Canal, an Electronic Fog Navigation System, and a Long Range Planning
Group and a 500 year Flood Study. For his work he was given a citation and
Certificate of Appreciation from Canal Zone Governor H.R. Parfitt.
Currently, Mr. Biggs
has a consulting firm which assists inventors with non-legal patent
matters, on product redesign and project planning analysis. He is a
Registered Professional Engineer (from 1973 to currently) in the State of
Missouri.
