Subject Matter Expert: Milton C. Moorer, P.E.
Milton C. Moorer, P.E., received a BS in Electrical Engineering from The University of Alabama. He has 40 years of experience in the design and development of instrumentation, control and data acquisition system for use in an aerospace testing environment. He has also served as the Calibration Laboratory Manager for a major NASA facility.
He has developed numerous instrumentation and control system for various testing of aerospace components including the telemetry system for water impact testing of solid rocket booster prototypes.
He was responsible for the design and development of a new generation of large scale data acquisition systems utilized for propulsion testing at a major NASA facility.
Beginning in 1998, Mr. Moorer was responsible for the design and development of a facility based engine control system for use for propulsion testing of prototype rocket engine and engine components.
He was responsible for developing the quality documentation and implementing the ISO standards for the Calibration Laboratory.
