Subject Matter Expert: Richard Edmonds, P.E.

Richard Edmonds, P.E., is a structural/civil engineer in private practice in Florence, Alabama. He is currently the principal engineer and Vice-President of White, Lynn, Collins & Associates where he performs design and analysis in the areas of civil, structural and foundation engineering. He also oversees the construction engineering and inspection services his company offers on various roadway and utility projects.

In the area of structural engineering, Mr. Edmonds has experience in the design of structural steel, cold-formed steel, reinforced concrete, masonry, segmented retaining walls, and timber.

Mr. Edmonds holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering Degree from Purdue University. He is a licensed professional engineer in the states of Alabama and Mississippi.
