Overview
This 4-hour course reviews Title I of the Energy Policy Act
of 2005. Title I of the Act concerns energy efficiency improvements in the
United States.
Title I of the Act amends many existing programs related to
energy efficiency in Federal buildings, State energy efficiency programs, and
programs that address the energy efficiency of commercial products. This is the
portion of the Title that mandates the change to daylight savings time and puts
a renewed interest on energy efficient products.
The
student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty-six (26) questions at the end of this course to obtain PDH credits.

This course teaches the
following specific knowledge and skills:

Understand the new energy
efficiency standards for Federal buildings and projects.

Understand changes in
Federal assistance to State energy efficiency programs.

Understand the changes to
commercial product efficiency standards.

Know how public housing
will be affected by the new energy efficiency standards.
