Overview

This course covers the use of Excel in engineering. You will need Office 2007 or Excel 2007 to follow examples in the course. You do not need prior knowledge in the use of Excel. The course covers terms used in Excel and the user interface.

You will learn how to make a worksheet and chart sheets (graphs) in Excel. The examples cover rectangular, semi-log and log-log graphs. The course covers many of the 341 built-in functions in Excel for converting units, statistics and those used to solve simultaneous equations.
