Overview
Falls are the leading cause of worker fatalities in the construction industry. Between 150 and 200 workers are killed each year as a result of falls on construction sites. And 100,000 more construction workers are injured every year because of falls.
This course covers OSHA 3146, Fall Protection in Construction, which was created by OSHA in response to the high number of injuries and deaths,. This standard covers both human and equipment-related issues in protecting workers from fall hazards on construction sites.
The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions at the end of the course to earn PDH credits.
