Overview
Every engineering project includes an element of planning and design. The Corps of Engineers has a specific vocabulary and set of procedures for planning and design of coastal projects that includes technical and economic considerations. This course provides a quick and easy summary of the planning and review process for coastal engineering projects.
The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions at the end of this course to obtain PDH credits.

This course teaches the following specific knowledge and skills:
- Define and describe the 6 major planning steps used by the US Army Corps of Engineers for coastal projects
