Uncertainty of Measurement

Overview
This
course covers the uncertainty of measurement, primarily as it relates to systems
and instrumentation. The student
will learn how to evaluate and combine uncertainty components to arrive at a
value of total uncertainty and how to derive the expanded uncertainty for a
system or instrument.
The
student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions at the
end of this course to earn PDH credits.

and evaluation of uncertainty components
- Type
A and Type B evaluations
- Combined
standard uncertainty
- Instrument
