Overview

The course will give an overview on the design considerations for helical pile foundations and applications. The course focuses on the technology and code requirements for helical piles. A brief history, various applications, considerations and design criteria will be discussed.

This course discusses the helical pile history, typical application, helical pile types, and design considerations. This course will enable the designer to properly understand and specify helical piles for new construction and remediation applications.

To earn PDH credits for this course, the student must pass a multiple choice quiz of fifteen (15) questions.
