Overview
The Ohio State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors is charged with the regulation of Professional Engineers in the state. From licensing new engineers to renewals and possible disciplinary actions, the Board is the state agency in charge.
An important part of running a professional practice is the understanding the laws and rules by which engineers are regulated. Just as important is having an understanding of some of the ethical concerns that apply to our profession. This course is an excellent refresher on both the laws and rules as well as the ethical concerns of the modern engineer.
The information in this text includes real-life advice for the professional engineer in Ohio. Additionally, we include a detailed look at the Ohio Board’s Code of Ethics that applies to every PE licensed in the state. Without doubt, this is information that you will use every day in your practice.
To receive credit for this course, the student must pass a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions.
