Overview
The guiding ethic for engineers and land surveyors is to safeguard life, health, and property. In the state of North Carolina, the North Carolina Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors (a.k.a. “the Board”) is responsible for implementation of North Carolina General Statute (NCGS) Chapter 89C, “The North Carolina Engineering and Land Surveying Act,” and for making and enforcing rules pertaining to the practice of engineering and land surveying. The rule that enforces NCGS 89C is North Carolina Administrative Code (NCAC) Title 21, Chapter 56 - Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
To earn credit for this course, you must pass a multiple choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions.
