Overview

This 4-hour course is an introduction to cathodic corrosion protection. This course explains the basics of cathodic protection including both galvanic cathodic protection systems and impressed current cathodic protection systems. Design examples of pipeline protection for both types are covered.

For PDH credit, the course includes a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty-five (25) questions.

  • The basics of cathodic protection
  • The pertinent tests for cathodic protection
  • The design process for a galvanic cathodic protection system
