Air Door Applications and Powered Aire Product Awareness

Course No. M-2025 Back to HVAC Courses
Credit: 2 PDH
Course Fee: $57.90

Steven G. Liescheidt, P.E., CSI-CCS, CCPR

Overview

The basic applications for air doors/air curtains have changed little since their development. The applications discussed herein do not present an exhaustive list of applications for air doors/air curtains. The potential use of air doors/air curtains is only limited by the imagination and creativity of the engineer looking for a solution to an HVAC challenge.

In this course the student will learn some of the basic fundamental applications about air doors. Also, this course has been specifically provided using the Powered Aire, Inc. product literature as the “Basis-of-Design” for this course. In effect, this course is a virtual lunch-‘n-learn wherein the student can learn about a product concept and actual manufacturers products at the same time.

The student is expected to read and review the material contained in the Air Door Applications & Powered Aire Product Awareness document provided with this course. For additional information about Powered Aire, Inc. products and applications the student can contact Powered Aire, Inc. or visit the Powered Aire, Inc. website (www.poweredaire.com) to find a local representative serving each territory.

The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions at the end of this course to obtain PDH credits.
