Overview

Flexible ducts are used extensively in HVAC systems. The Air Diffusion Council has information that may be used as a comprehensive guide in evaluating, selecting and installing flexible ducts in heating, air conditioning and ventilating systems.

In this course the student will learn about applications requirements and recommendations for the use of flexible air ducts including ratings, listings and certifications. In addition, the student will learn specific information about Thermaflex products that can be used as a basis-of-design in project specifications.

The student is expected to read and review the material contained in Flexible Duct Performance & Installation Standards, ADC, Fourth Edition and the Thermaflex Residential and Commercial Lines – HVAC Applications, Rev. 11/04.

The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions at the end of this course to obtain PDH credits.
