This four-hour course is a
review of how photovoltaic systems work and the components that constitute a
photovoltaic system. The course discusses the types of photovoltaic systems,
the characteristics of solar radiation, the types of materials used to make
solar cells, characteristics of solar components, and a few issues concerning
solar power installations.
The student must take a
multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty-seven (27) questions at the end of the
course to obtain PDH credits.
