Overview
The pump systems sourcebook used in this course was designed to provide pumping system users with a reference that outlines opportunities for improving system performance. It is meant to provide practical guidelines and information to make users aware of potential performance improvements.
In this course the student will learn about techniques to improve pumping system performance, pumping system basics, performance improvements techniques and other pumping system related considerations such as maintenance, life-cycle costs and pumping system assessments.
The student is expected to read and review the material contained in Improving Pumping System Performance - A Sourcebook for Industry, Second Edition, May 2006 (NREL/PIX13296).
The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of thirty-five (35) questions at the end of this course to obtain PDH credits.
