Terminal Units

Course No. M-3008 Back to HVAC Courses
Credit: 3 PDH
Course Fee: $86.85

Steven G. Liescheidt, P.E., CSI-CCS, CCPR

Overview

In today’s complex building structures it is imperative that the HVAC engineer have a basic knowledge of the components that make up the entire system. Terminal units have been a main part of the HVAC system for years and come in a variety of models and functional variances ranging from fairly common single duct boxes to more complex fan terminal units with special IAQ inlet controls.

In this course the student will learn some of the basics of selection and applications of terminal units including installation considerations, controls, sizing and types of units.

The student is expected to read and review the material contained in the Titus Product Catalog Engineering Guidelines.

The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions at the end of this course to obtain PDH credits.
