Overview
In this course the student will study the different types of underground natural gas storage facilities and the factors that affect the deliverability of the stored product. He or she will also learn three methods for measuring gas inventories.
The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of ten (10) questions at the end of the course to obtain PDH credits.
Specific Knowledge or Skill Obtained
This course teaches the following specific knowledge and skills:
- The ability to identify and describe the various types of underground natural gas storage facilities.
- Knowledge of the factors that affect gas deliverability
- Knowledge of the regulatory framework governing natural gas distribution
- Knowledge of the three methods for calculating gas inventories
