Overview
This three-hour course is a review of how wind energy power systems work and the components that constitute a wind energy system. This course discusses the types of wind energy systems, their characteristics, the methods used to classify and analyze wind resources, and the impacts of wind energy systems on electric power systems as well as their impact on the environment.
The student must take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (20) questions at the end of the course to obtain PDH credits.
