Overview
Burj Khalifa in Dubai is the tallest building in the world. At 2717 feet, this skyscraper exceeds the second tallest building, Taipei Financial Center (Taipei 101) in Taiwan, by a little over one-thousand feet. This course provides a description of the structure and then discusses structural analysis, design and construction. Discussions include gravity, wind and earthquake analysis, concrete creep-shrinkage aspects and construction sequence analysis.
The student will take a multiple-choice quiz consisting of twenty (15) questions at the end of this course to earn PDH credits.
