not related to professional practice, such as general office management, accounting,
finance, marketing, basic AutoCAD, etc., are not accepted by the New York
State Board (note that project management courses are accepted if they are
technical in nature and contribute to the professional practice). Courses in some of these areas are accepted by other
state boards. As a result, there are some courses published on PDHengineer.com that cannot be taken to fulfill continuing education
requirements for engineers registered in the state of New York.
