West Virginia Board Requirements

Below is a summary of the Board's continuing education requirements for engineers licensed in the state of West Virginia:

Hours Required 15 PDH annually
Renewal Dates June 30 every year for all engineers
Course Approval The Board does not pre-approve providers or specific courses. Each engineer must determine whether an activity meets the Board's requirements.
Course Content No specific guidance or restrictions on course content are provided by the Board.
Online Courses Accepted. There is no limit on the number of hours that can be earned through online continuing education. 
PDH Carryover A maximum of 8 PDH may be carried forward into the next renewal period
