Association Requirements
PDHengineer.com courses meet the requirements for "Formal Activities" in Professional Development for all Canadian provincial licensing associations that mandate professional development activities for engineers.
Guidelines for CPD
Alberta
The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) requires engineers to complete at least 240 hours of CPD activities over a three-year period. A maximum of 50 hours of CPD per year can be earned from working in professional practice as an engineer. A maximum of 30 hours of CPD per year can be earned through "Formal Activities". New Brunswick
The Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of New Brunswick (APEGNB) requires engineers to complete at least 240 hours of CPD activities over a three-year period. A maximum of 40 hours of CPD per year can be earned from working in professional practice as an engineer. A maximum of 30 hours of CPD per year can be earned through "Formal Activities". Newfoundland & Labrador
The new Professional Development Guidelines set forth by the Association of Professional Engineers and Geoscientists of Newfoundland (APEGN) requires engineers to complete at least four activities over a three-year period. Time Weighting Factor
Formal Activities in each province earn a time weighting factor of 1. This means that you earn 1 hour of CPD for every PDH that you earn taking a PDHengineer.com course (or any other acceptable formal activity).
