Ramy Sayed Hamed, Quality Control and Assurance Engineer

Ramy Sayed Hamed, Quality Control and Assurance Engineer, has extensive experience with welding and mechanical inspection for fabrication, erection, modification, alteration and repairs of pipe lines, pipe nets, storage tanks, and static equipment. Mr. Hamed possesses in-depth knowledge of application program interface (API), American Society of  Mechanical Engineers codes, and American Welding Society codes.


Mr. Hamed currently serves as a Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC) Inspection Engineer in the oil and gas industry. In the past, he has performed roles as an API Mechanical-Welding Plant Inspection Coordinator, QA/QC Engineer, Welding Inspector, and QC Inspection Engineer.
Mr. Hamed received a BS in Metallurgy from Suez Canal University. He is certified as a Process Piping Inspector API 570, Pressure Vessel Inspector API 510, Aboveground Storage Tank Inspector API 653, and Welding Inspector. Mr. Hamed has obtained certificates in Applied Welding Technology and in the FORTRAN programming language for engineering applications, and has completed safety training in First Aid, Fire Fighting, Defensive Driving, Confined Space Entry, and Safety Work at Heights.
