Overview

This seminar is applicable to Plant Engineers, Maintenance Engineers, Maintenance Managers, Technicians, Facilities Managers and other professionals who are interested in enhancing their knowledge of the broad spectrum of disciplines involved in modern industrial and commercial facilities management.

Seminar attendees will learn how to make “repair versus replace” decisions on capital intensive plant equipment. The real, yet obscure, costs of energy will be explored during the session. The seminar will also cover preventive maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment, vibration testing and predictive maintenance.

Seminar attendees will learn best practices for increasing the mean time between failures (MTBF) on HVAC and other plant equipment and will learn valuable tips on maintenance troubleshooting and problem solving. Finally, seminar participants will learn how to demonstrate economic justification of capital projects to help ensure they get funding approval from management.
