4 Easy Steps to Complete a PDHengineer webinar

Concrete has played an important part in engineering projects for many years, from the Roman Pantheon to the Hoover Dam to the foundation of the Landmark Tower in Abu Dhabi. This webinar provides an overview of the methods and principles of concrete, including the basic ingredients in concrete and the essential aspects of working with fresh or hardened concrete. This live, interactive webinar is designed for engineers, construction project managers, contractors, quality control managers, public officials, and private firm owners who deal directly or indirectly with concrete.

You will learn about the main defects found in concrete, the causes of these defects, how to repair them, and preventative measures that can be taken by engineers--including the "do's and don'ts" in concrete technology--to ensure good quality concrete and avoid defects. We will also discuss the basic principles of chemistry behind concrete production, as well as the latest concrete technology and anticipated research outcomes.

Please be prepared to accommodate the schedule. This is an 8-hour webinar, which will include two 10-minute breaks (one in the morning and one in the afternoon) and a 45-minute lunch break. It is highly suggested that participants use either a speakerphone or telephone headset for comfort during the webinar.
