This course explains how to count in binary, octal, and hexadecimal; three of the counting systems that are used by most digital computers. It also goes into the basic logic elements that make up any digital computer. It shows how addition can be done with binary logic circuits. Some memory techniques are explained, along with the importance of memory in digital computers. The course also explores some of the timing and counting circuits used.
