Subject Matter Expert: Cheng-Ning Jong, P.E.

Cheng-Ning Jong, P.E., earned his B.S. in Engineering with Mechanical Specialty in 1994 and M.S. in Engineering Systems in 1996 from the Colorado School of Mines. Mr. Jong is a Registered U.S. Patent Agent and also a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of New York.

While completing his master’s degree, Mr. Jong taught Fluid Mechanics laboratory classes. While consulting at a large construction, mining and earth moving equipment company, he was involved in designing, developing and testing automated digging, hydraulic control software and valve controls systems. Mr. Jong also had experience in designing and developing valve actuator and pipeline safety equipment. He also has production printer software development experience in areas of fuser, raster output scanner, xerography and communication. He is a member of the Rochester Engineering Society.
