Mr. Carrell received a B.S.E.E. from Texas Technological College and
M.S.E.E. from Stanford University. Most of his 40 years experience was in
the fields of electronic countermeasures and electronic information
collection systems. Mr. Carrell is a professional engineer registered in
Texas.
After working for several major companies in the national defense
industry, Mr. Carrell started his own technical consulting company in
1980, serving small companies needing support in innovative product
development as well as major defense contractors developing special
electronic systems. Primary tasks frequently involved the developing of
system concepts, hardware implementation plans, system performance
requirements and proof-of-concept hardware. The wide range of devices and
systems involved is reflected in his experience with the "building blocks"
of electronics, including power supplies, logic and control techniques, RF
and microwave devices, and antennas.
Now in
semi-retirement, Mr. Carrell occasionally performs specific tasks for
clients in the areas of electronic system feasibility evaluation, system
interface study, and antenna analysis as well as general technical support
for proposals. |
