Gregory T. Benz, P.E., is President of Benz Technology International, Inc.
A registered Professional Engineer in Ohio, Mr. Benz has over 35 years experience (25 at Chemineer, Inc., a major manufacturer of fluid agitators, and 10+ as an independent consultant) in the design of agitation systems, specializing in fermentation, polymers, biofuels and bioreactors. Currently his company does general engineering, mixing and bioreactor design consultation, including design of pilot programs, equipment specification and bid evaluation. Customers include Abengoa Bioenergy, A.E. Staley, Cargill, Carlisle, Chemineer, Chr Hansen, Degussa,, Gevo, ICM, Magna-Safe, Mixtech, Merck, NatureWorks, Philadelphia Mixers, Rebus Corp., Robbins & Myers, Zibo Cargill and many others.
Mr. Benz has conducted fluid agitation seminars in the USA, France, Canada, S. Korea and China. He is a member of AIChE, ISPE, SIM and the American Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai.
