Subject Matter Expert: Richard L. Duggan, P.E.
Richard L. Duggan, P.E., received a BS in General Engineering from the University of Portland and an MS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Oregon State University. He is licensed by the State of Oregon as a Professional Engineer, Mechanical (retired).
His career of 33 years at Tektronix, Inc. included engineering and management in both design and manufacturing of electro-mechanical products. He led an initiative to improve technical problem solving skills in the Color Printer Division.
Since retiring, Mr. Duggan has consulted with a variety of companies to improve their technical problem solving capabilities. In addition, he taught a course in this subject at the Center for Professional Development of Oregon Health and Science University.
