Oklahoma PEs are required to earn 30 PDH biennially to maintain licensure.
The Board lists a number of different acceptable continuing education
activities, including correspondence courses. Note that PDHengineer's online
courses fall under the category of "correspondence courses."
While the Oklahoma board does not mandate or pre-approve specific courses or providers, they do require that the courses cover material that is technical, ethical or managerial in nature and that the activity pertains to the practice of engineering.
Oklahoma's professional engineers have been using PDHengineer.com since 2003 to provide high quality continuing education. Our course authors are experts in the fields they teach, and most have a graduate degree or have taught at university level.

Requirement: There is evidence of preplanning of the educational activity, which should include the opportunity for input by the target group to be served.
PDHengineer: Hours of preparation and preplanning go into the development of each PDHengineer online course and seminar. And, there is an online feedback system which affords the engineer the opportunity for input regarding the quality and effectiveness of the continuing education activity.
Requirement: There is a provision for individual participant registration which will include information for record keeping and reporting.
PDHengineer: In order to complete a PDHengineer online course or webinar, you are required to create a login account. The information required by the board is gathered at this time. Upon successful completion of the course quiz or webinar survey, you can instantly access a certificate of completion containing all of the information required by the board, such as your name, course name number of PDH earned and the completion date.
