FAQ - Webinars

What is a Webinar?

Simply put, a webinar or web seminar is an online live, interactive seminar. You will have all of the advantages of an in-person instructor without leaving your home or office. Web seminars offer two-way communication between you, the instructor and the others attending the seminar.

How do I take part in a Webinar?

Register for your choice of webinar from our webinar home page or call us toll free at 1-877-PDHengineer . The day before the webinar you will receive an e-mail that contains a link to the webinar site along with a password. Log in using the simple instructions in the email. Then, call the toll-free number shown on your computer screen.

You must have a computer with a high speed internet connection (DSL or cable) and a telephone in order to attend a webinar. For your comfort, it is suggested that you use a speakerphone or headset when attending the seminar.

How do I get my certificate of completion?

After you have attended the web seminar, log into your account at PDHengineer.com and select the Webinars Attended Pending Survey Completion link. Then click the Webinars Attended - Pending Survey Completion link.

A short survey will ask your opinion about how well the webinar met the learning objectives. When you submit your answers, you will see a link to download and print your certificate of completion.

You can return to the My Account link at any time to print a copy of your certificate of completion.

Are PDH credits awarded for Webinars?

Webinars earn PDH credits for engineers in all states. For New York licensed PEs, webinar credits are counted as live contact hours. Remember that you are protected by the PDHengineer Iron-Clad Money-Back Guarantee. PDHengineer guarantees our webinars to be accepted by your state board or you get a full refund of the purchase price.

Attention New York Engineers:

PDHengineer.com webinars have been approved as continuing education courses (live interactive courses) for professional engineers by the New York Board of Engineers and Land Surveyors. PDHengineer.com, a service mark of Decatur Professional Development, LLC, is an approved provider of continuing education for New York engineers.

Where can I see a list of Webinars that are coming up soon?

You can use this link to see a list of webinars scheduled for the next several weeks. The list is updated often, so be sure to check back with us for new seminar topics.

We have a group of engineers at our office who would all like to take part in a webinar. How does that work?

PDHengineer can accommodate groups of three or more attending from the same location with special pricing. This is a convenient way to assure that your entire engineering staff receives first-class continuing education at an affordable price.
