Why does the system not accept my email address and password?
There are a number of reasons why you may not be able to login into your
account:
- Are you registered as a user?
- You must first sign-up as a new user before you can login to PDHengineer.com
to take courses. Click on New User Sign-up Form on the login page to create a
new login account.
- Did you type your email address and password correctly?
- Note that both email address and password are case-sensitive. Check to make
sure that the "Caps Lock" is not selected on your keyboard. You must login using
the same upper and lower case letters as originally entered. For example, if you
originally entered your email address as: First.Name@website.com,
you will not be able to login using
first.Name@website.com, First.name@website.com, or
first.name@website.com.
- If you cannot remember your password, then click the link below the password
box for help from our Live Support Chat team.
- If you cannot remember the email address that you used to create your
account, click the Live Support Chat link, call us toll free at
1-877-PDHengineer, or send us an email at
administrator@pdhengineer.com.
- Do you have "cookies" enabled on your web browser?
- If your web browser is set to a high security setting, then you may not be
able to login to your PDHengineer.com account. Changing your web browser
settings is simple:
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0+
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- Click on the "Privacy" tab.
- Click the "Default" button (or manually slide the bar down to "Medium")
under "Settings".
- Click "OK".
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x
- Select "Internet Options" from the Tools menu.
- Click on the "Security" tab.
- Click the "Custom Level" button.
- Scroll down to the "Cookies" section.
- To enable:
- Set "Allow cookies that are stored on your computer" to "Enable".
- Set "Allow per-session cookies" to "Enable".
- Click "OK".
- If your web browser is not listed above and you suspect that your browser is
blocking cookies, then send us an email at
administrator@pdhengineer.com for assistance.
I submitted the course quiz, but I get a blank screen.
Generally, one of two things will solve this occasional issue:
- First, use the Back button on your browser to return to the
quiz. Your answers should still appear on the page. Before going any farther, be
sure to print this page if you have not already done so. Then,
click the Submit button again. In most cases, the quiz will
grade properly at this time and you will permitted to print your certificate of
completion.
- If that does not work, your web browser is most likely set to a high
security setting, which blocks cookies. In order to view your quiz results and
access your certificate of completion, you need to enable cookies in your web
browser. See the instructions above. Once you have enabled cookies in your web
browser, you can access your certificate of completion by clicking on
"Completed Courses" in the My Account menu.
- If neither works, contact us using Live Support Chat, call
toll free 1-877-PDHengineer, or email us at
administrator@pdhengineer.com.
I am unable to download the course PDF file.
You must have a copy of Adobe Reader installed on your computer to download
and view course PDF files.
Click here to download a free copy of Adobe Reader. Note that some users who
have older versions of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installed on their machines
have reported problems with these applications. If you are unable to open a PDF
file on PDHengineer.com, then get the latest copy of Reader using the link
above. If you have the latest version of Reader installed, then check whether
your computer has any old versions still installed on your computer. It has been
reported by some users that having an older version of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe
Reader installed on their computer, along with the new version, resulted in PDF
download problems. All old versions should be uninstalled when the new version
is installed.
If you are unable to download a course file by clicking on the link, then
right-click and then click "Save As" to save the file to your hard
drive.
I am unable to download my course certificate of completion.
You must have a copy of Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Reader installed on your
computer to download and view your course certificate. Refer to the question
above for information on downloading Adobe Reader. If the latest version of
Adobe Reader is installed on your computer and you still cannot download your
certificate, then check which browser you are using:
Checking Your Web Browser
- Select "Help" in the menu at the top of your browser.
- Select "About Internet Explorer" or "About Firefox", etc.
A very small number of users may experience problems downloading the
certificate of completion with web browsers other than Microsoft Internet
Explorer 6.0+, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.x, or Mozilla Firefox. If you use a
different browser (such as Netscape or Opera) and you are unable to download
your certificate, then try downloading your certificate using Microsoft Internet
Explorer.
Some of the text and graphics on PDHengineer.com do not display properly on
my screen.
The design of PDHengineer.com is optimized for the Microsoft Internet
Explorer series of web browsers. The functionality of the website, including
creating a login account, purchasing courses, taking quizzes, etc., works with
any web browser. However, there are some text and graphics that may appear
slightly different than our web designers intended when displayed on your screen
if you use Netscape, Opera or another web browser.
We would like to hear your feedback. If you are using Netscape, Opera or one
of the other non-IE browsers, send us an email at
administrator@pdhengineer.com and tell us whether you are experiencing any
display or functionality problems. We want to ensure that your experience on
PDHengineer.com is pleasurable.
I misspelled my name when creating my login account.
Any information that you input when creating your login account can be
changed at any time by clicking on "Edit Profile Information"
in the
My Account menu. The exception is that you cannot change your
email address (which serves as your login username) in My Account. If your email
address changes, send us an email with the old and new email addresses and we
will make the change.
Note that any changes that you make to your Profile Information will not be
reflected in previously created certificates of completion. Thus, changing your
name in your Profile Information will not result in the new name being added to
existing certificates in your account from previously completed courses. The new
name will, however, be applied to certificates for courses completed in the
future.
