Foad Alvandi, P.E.
Foad Alvandi, P.E., holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Tehran University and a Master of Science in Electrical and Computer Engineering from George Mason University. He has been a registered Professional Engineer in the State of Maryland since 2006, specializing in electrical power engineering.
With over 40 years of combined experience in the electrical and solar power industries, as well as in academia, Mr. Alvandi brings extensive knowledge and expertise to his field. He currently serves as an adjunct professor at Johns Hopkins University, where he teaches the graduate-level course Introduction to Electrical Power Systems as part of the Engineering for Professionals (EP) online program.
Although retired from full-time industry work, Mr. Alvandi remains actively engaged in education and continues to stay current with developments in the solar and electrical power industries.
