Lorne holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Management with a specialization in quality management, focusing particularly on supplier and subcontractor quality control. Throughout his career, he has applied the principles of Systems Engineering and Quality Management to optimize research, design, development, deployment, measurement, and communication processes across diverse organizations and industries.

Based in St. Petersburg, Florida, overlooking Tampa Bay, Lorne enjoys spending time with his wife, Sharron, and their growing family, which includes 11 grandchildren. Together, they share a passion for travel and adventure, having explored destinations across Europe, South America, Africa, the Arctic, Greenland, Machu Picchu, the Amazon River, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Southeast Asia, Singapore, and many other remarkable locations around the world.
