Tanita Gilbert Alexander, P.E., MBA, is a licensed civil engineer and executive leader with more than 30 years of experience in public-sector infrastructure, project management, multidisciplinary coordination, and design oversight. As President of EJES, Inc., she leads multi-office engineering operations supporting municipal and other public-sector projects across multiple states. Her professional experience includes transportation, drainage, utilities, and site development, as well as the quality assurance and review processes that improve design quality and project delivery. She brings a practical, experience-based perspective to engineering education, emphasizing quality control, accountability, and strategies for reducing avoidable rework in civil engineering design.
