Erek Iwanenko, P.E., M.S.

Erek Iwanenko, P.E., M.S., is an environmental engineer specializing in municipal stormwater management, regulatory compliance, water quality improvement, and infrastructure management. He has experience developing and implementing stormwater programs, assisting public agencies with regulatory requirements, and applying practical engineering solutions to improve environmental performance and infrastructure reliability.

Mr. Iwanenko currently serves as an engineer for a regional water authority, where he supports water infrastructure projects, engineering evaluations, regulatory coordination, and capital improvement initiatives. He also serves as Principal Engineer and owner of Trinity Environmental Solutions LLC, an environmental consulting firm that provides stormwater and environmental services to municipalities, townships, authorities, and other public agencies.

Through Trinity Environmental Solutions LLC, Mr. Iwanenko assists clients with Municipal Separate Storm Sewer System (MS4) program development, Stormwater Management Programs (SWMPs), Pollution Reduction Plans (PRPs), best management practice (BMP) inspections, illicit discharge investigations, stormwater infrastructure evaluations, regulatory audits, permit reviews, and long-term stormwater management planning.

His experience includes coordinating with municipal officials, engineers, regulatory agencies, contractors, and community stakeholders to develop practical solutions that support regulatory compliance while improving water quality and infrastructure performance.

Mr. Iwanenko earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering and a Master of Science in Environmental Science and Management from Gannon University. His professional focus is on connecting environmental regulations with effective municipal engineering implementation.
