Overview

To meet the Ohio Board's intent that online courses be "paced" by the provider, a timer will be used to record your study time. You will be unable to access the quiz until the required study time of 60 minutes has been met.

The course is designed to help engineers confidently manage the performance of others. You’ll learn about the interconnected relationships of organizational, departmental, and individual goals. You will also improve your ability to navigate difficult conversations with underperforming employees.

- How to communicate expectations and recognize progress.
- How to guide the performance of inherited staff who have been mismanaged.
- How to anticipate common pitfalls experienced by managers.

You will be able to immediately print a certificate of completion after passing a multiple-choice quiz consisting of 10 questions. PDH credits are not awarded until the course is completed and quiz is passed.
