In Decarbonization Strategies for Industrials , you'll learn ...
- The different emission scopes that must be included in a de-carbonization strategy.
- How energy consumption data is vital to understanding and calculating emissions, and importance of ranking emissions from different facility processes and different facilities.
- The different tactics and strategies to employ for industrial de-carbonization, along with ideas of proven and applicable energy projects.
- The Marginal Abatement Cost Curve to rank de-carbonization projects.
Overview
To meet the Ohio Board's intent that online courses be "paced" by the provider, a timer will be used to record your study time. You will be unable to access the quiz until the required study time of 57 minutes has been met.

Duration: 57 minutes
This course includes a data and fact-based overview of de-carbonization tactics and strategies to reduce industrial emissions. The different scopes of emissions are discussed, along with practical ideas to assist operators trying to meet their emission targets.A list of de-carbonization projects is discussed to help generate ideas for attendees' companies. Attendees will learn more about the drivers of change to de-carbonization, how the current energy mix is changing, along with pertinent questions that companies should b easking about their energy consumption and emission.
It is led by an expert with over 40 years technical, strategic, and financial experience in the energy sector, with international energy and de-carbonization experience with multi-national companies, Newmont Corporation, Rio Tinto, and ExxonMobil.
This video is a recording of a live webinar training session. As a recording of a live event, you will hear the discussion that occurred between the instructor and those who attended this webinar.
