Gregory J. Taylor, P.E.

Gregory J. Taylor, P.E., has been employed for over twenty years with the Tennessee Department of Transportation and currently holds the position of Transportation Project Supervisor 1. In this position, he is responsible for design of all type of roadway projects, such as state highways, bridges, and cost estimation as well as erosion control, hydrology and grading projects.

Taylor holds the rank of Major in the Tennessee Air National Guard and serves as the Installations Flight Commander of 241st Engineering Installation Squadron, Chattanooga, Tennessee. He acts as the focal point and coordinating office for all squadron workload and construction matters and works in close association with all sections in an advisory capacity. In his position, Major Taylor is the Officer-In-Charge of the squadron’s installation sections which include the Wire and Electronics branches.

He holds Masters of Science Degrees in Civil Engineering and Engineering Management from the University of Tennessee and a Bachelors in Civil/Structural Engineering from the University of Tennessee as well as a Bachelors in Organizational Behavior from Covenant College.
