Walter W. Henry, P.E., LEED AP

Walter W. Henry, P.E., EE, LEED™ AP, holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from LeTourneau College, 1973. From 1969 through 1976 he was in the Georgia Air National Guard as a flight facilities electronics technician, finishing as a staff sergeant and receiving an honorable discharge. From 1973 through 1976 he was a communications engineer with Georgia Power Company. In 1976 he entered consulting engineering as a designer/drafter. In 1983 he became a licensed professional engineer in Georgia.

Since 1976 Mr. Henry has become a senior electrical engineer and a "general practitioner" of electrical engineering and project management skills. He has designed electrical systems for structures such as residences, high-rise buildings, hospitals, environmental treatment plants, colleges, government buildings and military bases. These systems included indoor and outdoor lighting, indoor and outdoor power distribution, fire alarm, telephone/data, and sound.

Mr. Henry has learned project management skills while working in medium to small consulting engineering firms. He brings over 30 years of practical engineering experience to his courses.
