Many people will first split the circle into nine sections, then quickly they’ll make it to ten sections, and eventually some will make it to eleven, which is the maximum number. There are many ways to split the circle into eleven sections, but here is one solution:

Imagine the circle as a clock face. Draw a line from the twelve to the six, the two to seven, the three to nine, and the final line goes from the five to a place in between the eleven and twelve. This results in eleven sections.
