Jyoti Mukherjee, P.E., DEng, M.S., MBA, PGDBM

Jyoti Mukherjee, P.E., DEng, M.S., MBA, PGDBM, has more than 40 years of experience as a mechanical design and production engineer in the field of automotive and machine tool design. His technical expertise includes CNC Machine Design, structural vibration analysis, reliability management, and structural strength analysis using finite element analysis (FEA) for computer-controlled machinery and automotive chassis. His work history includes supervisory roles in companies such as Ford Motor Company, Warner and Swasey Company, and Leblond Makino Machine Tool Company. He holds several U.S. and international patents in the field of mechanical engineering and the design of machine tools. 

Mr. Muhkherjee has served as an adjunct professor at the University of Arizona. He also served as chair professor in the Industrial Engineering Department of Indian Institutes of Technology in Kharagpur, India. 

He has been responsible for the development and rollout of system level frequency and weight optimization for machine structures using NASTRAN, ABAQUS, nSOFT, HYPERMESH, and ANSYS, and is the author of a system engineering book titled “System Engineering for Machine Tool Development.”
