This course covers the basics of using interrupts in microcontroller-based systems. Although interrupts introduce potential problems to microcontroller designs, sometimes they are the best way or even the only way to solve some problems. As long as the pitfalls are avoided, interrupts are a powerful tool in designing microcontroller-based systems.
By the end of this course, you should have a working knowledge of how interrupts are used in microcontroller systems. This is an introductory course, but you should have a basic knowledge of computers and software prior to taking this course.
