Overview
It is usually very difficult to manage the gap between cost and safety. Obviously if we had it our way, we’ll prefer to do the safest things, one hundred percent of the times; perfect situation. But since we don’t live in a perfect world, we have to continuously strive to balance the gap between cost and safety. This task is mostly left in the care of dedicated engineers like yourself; who are the gate keepers to ensure that a thorough effort is made for plants, equipment, processes, tools, etc. are designed, constructed, installed and operated in a safe and efficient manner and also affordably.
This no easy task, that is why we continually have to educate and re-educate ourselves on the subject; and that is exactly what this webinar is all about.
At the end of the webinar, students should be able to identify easily, the various types of area classification and the various protection techniques used in electrical equipment installed and operated within such areas. Furthermore, students will have solid understanding of the rules and regulations governing area classification and where to get more information on such topics.
