This is Part 2 of a 9-part course series covering LNG Plant Components and Design. All modules are designed to be stand-alone and can be completed in any sequence desired.

The objective of this course series is to familiarize you with the various components found within most modern LNG Plants constructed in the U.S. with the goal of gaining sufficient knowledge to write specifications for design of such equipment as well as to select appropriate equipment for a given purpose.

This series of classes is valuable for those involved in the design, operation and maintenance of such facilities, as well as those recommending capital equipment and improvements to such plants.

  1. 1. LNG Properties
  2. 2. LNG Vaporization Systems
  3. 3. LNG Pretreatment Equipment
  4. 4. LNG Liquefaction Processes
  5. 5. LNG Storage Tanks
  6. 6. Process Safety Integrity levels and Safety Instrumented Systems
  7. 7. Odorization of LNG
  8. 8. Boil off Compressors and boil off management
  9. 9. Expander/Compressors (Companders)
